Lauren Hitchcock, M.S.

M.S. Biomedical & Translational Sciences · Coach/Co-Owner

Lauren is a nationally qualified athlete and performance coach with a BS in Biology and a Master's in Biomedical & Translational Sciences, where she specialized in muscle physiology and immunology. Her coaching blends evidence based training with a deep understanding of how the body adapts, recovers, and performs under stress.

As a USA Triathlon Level 1 Certified Coach and Certified Sports Nutrition Coach, Lauren is currently expanding her expertise through advanced coursework in Sports Performance, and active study toward her NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist 3 credential. This continued education ensures her athletes receive cutting edge guidance in training, fueling, and performance optimization.

Before stepping into endurance coaching, Lauren worked as both a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, giving her a strong foundation in movement quality, client communication, and coaching diverse populations. Whether she's guiding beginners or competitive athletes, Coach Lauren is known for her science driven approach, her empathy, and her ability to tailor training to each athlete's physiology, lifestyle, and goals.

Lauren lives with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), a connective tissue disorder that affects joint stability throughout the body. In one of her most defining moments as an athlete, she completed her first 70.3 triathlon with one arm - the other fully dislocated - refusing to let the unexpected stop her. Her personal experience navigating chronic injury has made injury prevention a cornerstone of her coaching philosophy, ensuring every athlete she works with trains not just hard, but sustainably.
